Our story

Video libraries shouldn't be graveyards.

Coaching programs pour thousands of hours into video content. Then it sits in a library no one can search, in a player that doesn't understand what's being taught. Members rewatch entire modules looking for one answer. Coaches repeat themselves endlessly. Great teaching gets buried.

The problem we kept seeing

Marcel spent 15 years building video infrastructure: encoding pipelines, adaptive streaming, headless delivery. The technology to host and play video got good. The technology to understand what's inside a video stayed stuck in 2010. Meanwhile every coaching program he met was sitting on hundreds of hours nobody could search.

How Bold started

Bold started in late 2023, when Marcel built the video infrastructure for Rob Hope's course. They kept hitting the same wall: every platform treated video as dumb files. Nothing knew what was being taught.

Bold is the answer to that. A platform that reads every lesson the way a teacher would, then powers an AI coach that answers member questions with citations to the actual teaching. Marcel builds and runs Bold day to day.
